Leo Villafana (1927 - 1991) was active/lived in New York & Puerto Rico. Oil on Canvas Board. Leo Villafana is known for Impressionist and abstract painting, street scenes, buildings in landscape.
Leo Villafana was born in Puerto Rico and grew up in New York. In the late 1950's and early 60's, he gained a reputation as an impressionistic painter of street scenes, several of which were sold to Hollywood figures as Edward G. Robinson. He passed away in April 1991 at the age of 64.
