Oil on canvas painting of an alleyway in Palazzo Ciampoli Taurmina, focusing on the passage through an archway. Signed and titled verso. Dated 1921. Taurmina is famous for its ancient ruins. From Greek to Roman, To Byzantine each left their masterful stone work. Beautifully in Gilt Frame. Details of the artist on the back.

Artist Biography:
Laurits Schmidt-Nielsen (1879–1955) was a Danish artist known for his contributions to painting and illustration.
