La Barge, Inc (Est. 1962) Michigan, USA, Venetian style mirror. Elaborate surrounding designs of etched floral patterns in scalloped ornamentation. Rear label reads La Barge 2102 B and Made in Philippines.

The Hart Mirror Plate Company was founded in 1899 by Joseph S. Hart in Grand Rapids, MI. Representatives from the company were instrumental in establishing the 1931 US Commercial Standards for glass mirror production, including proper application of aluminum coating and avoiding the use of lead. Hart Mirror Company became La Barge, Inc in 1962, outsourcing production while expanding their empire. The firm eventually moved headquarters to North Carolina in 2000.
This particular mirror is from 1963, in good shape, with clear detail, no visible scratches on the main surface, and two hooks already attached on the back.
