Koharig (21st C) Armenian, Oil on Canvas Figural "Pick". Figural oil on canvas depicting a woman in a 'K' stance, with a man in back holding up her leg. Titled "Pick", dated 1965.

Artist Biography (Koharig.com):
Koharig, an artist of Armenian descent, was born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, where she studied under the renowned Ashod Zorian, who had connections with Braque and Picasso. She later apprenticed with LaMartine in Montreal. In 1968, her work debuted in the U.S., and she has since operated studios in France, the Caribbean, California, and Naples, Florida, where she currently resides. Known for her abstract impressionism, Koharig's vibrant works often feature fluid human figures, exploring themes of the human condition, life’s struggles, and the process of breaking free with unrestrained energy.
