Kim Frohsin, who now makes her home in San Francisco, was born in Atlanta, Georgia. Her work is held by the San Jose Museum of Art, the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento, the Office of the Governor, State Capital, Sacramento, and the United States Department of State. Frohsin is at home with painting, drawing, monoprintIng, and mixed media. Her subjects include the female figure, landscapes and cityscapes, as well as objects and series that attract her attention, and which are most often autobiographical in nature.
