This is most sought-after cold war era spy camera in the world. This KGB spy camera is disguised as a fake notebook. It has real notebook that spy uses regularly and switches to fake one to copy secret documents. The camera has its own light source that switches on automatically when the camera is moved across the document. This very rare rollover camera was made in a special workshop of the KMZ combine at Krasnogorsk near Moscow. For copying secret documents, it is rolled over the document left to right at a speed of 20cm/sec by hand and copies a 10cm wide strip of the document to an 8.3mm filmstrip in a special cassette.
