Kenny Williams Tjampitjinpa (Born Circa 1950) Australian, Aboriginal Art, Oil on Canvas. Original 1998 painting on canvas. Aritst name is on the back. A certificate from "Art of the Western Desert" accompanies the lot. Kenny Tjampitjinpa is known for Aboriginal art. Kenny was born around 1950. He symbolically evokes here the journeys of the Tingari Ancestors who roamed the Western Desert during the Dreamtime, shaping the landscapes and creating sites that have become sacred for some Pintupis. Kenny won the National Aboriginal Art Award in 2000 and became one of the most important artists of his generation. Size: 24 x 48 in. #1561 Location H
