Ken and Ingrid Hanson (Born 1967/68) American, Tall Memphis Lamp Style Art Glass Sculpture. The lamp-like form separates the work by color, with a green flared column streaked in twisting yellow lines, a solid black ball in the middle, and a pink flared wide bowl top with orange curving streaks and a solid green rim. Signed and dated 1999 on the underside edge.

Ken and Ingrid Hanson are acclaimed American glass artists based in San Carlos, California. Ken was born in 1967 and Ingrid in 1968, and they first met in a glassblowing class in college. The husband-and-wife duo have been collaborating since 1992, crafting hand-blown art glass influenced by traditional Swedish and Italian techniques, with Ken primarily inspired by balance and ordered patterns and Ingrid drawn to nature and environmental motifs. Their contemporary work incorporates a bold color palette, murrini, and metallic inclusions, including 24 karat gold and pure silver leaf, and are highly sought by collectors across the country.
