'Overalls', a mixed media sculpture by Kathy Ross, from her Travelers Series. Signed on right pant leg. Dated 2009. Be sure not to put in direct sunlight (to prevent fading).
The artist states, "The Travelers reflect years of figurative sculpture and an interest in placing human beings in relation to the world. The figures are collaged with maps and book pages. They interact with globes or strings of buttons or map-collaged animals. Underneath, the armature is made of just about everything - wood, cardboard, various wire, styrofoam, cloth, plaster, and three kinds of glue."
