Karl Striker (born c. 1978) is an anonymous British street and urban artist whose work blends stencil-based graffiti, pop-culture imagery and social commentary in a bold, graphic style that recalls but expands beyond the UK’s street art tradition. Operating largely under a pseudonym to protect his identity and avoid legal repercussions for unsanctioned public work, Striker’s art has appeared on urban surfaces throughout North East England and beyond, often incorporating iconic characters such as Snoopy, Woodstock and other cultural symbols reimagined with ironic or provocative twists. While he eschews formal public fame, his studio pieces—spray paint and stencil works on canvas and prints—have been exhibited in London and Los Angeles and collected internationally, and his work plays with themes of rebellion, humour and subversion that blur the boundary between guerrilla art and contemporary studio practice.
