Jurgen Gorg (b 1951) German, Lithograph Titled "Wasser" depicts a group of mermaids frolicking, lithograph numbered 112/175. Signed, titled, and numbered on bottom. Born in Dernbach, West Germany, Jurgen Gorg has established himself as a master craftsman and consummate artist. His etchings and lithographs reflect his innate talent and imagination. He studied visual arts first, in Koblenz, Germany and later, at the Johannes-Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany. Jurgen Gorg's subjects are idealized, incompletely rendered figures suggesting the timeless and eternal. He typically employs a monochromatic palette. Overall size: 27 x 24 in.
