He has exhibited extensively throughout the New York metropolitan area. His work has been received favorably by renowned critics such as William Agee, Associate Curator for the Whitney Museum of American Art. Joseph Cuffaro’s formal education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from New Paltz University, a Master of Arts degree from Adelphi University and a Professional Diploma from Hunter’s College, New York. He has studied in the U.S. and Europe under distinguished artists Robert Motherwell, Jackson Pollack, European landscape painter Rudolph Schafer and sculptor Tony Smith.
