Titled "Still Life in Garden With Trellis, 1976", signed and dated lower right, oil on canvas, Kennedy Galleries label verso. Joseph B. O'Sickey attended the Cleveland School of Art, now the Cleveland Institute of Art, and graduated in 1940. In a career that spanned more than six decades, O'Sickey inspired admirers and collectors in Northeast Ohio and in New York, where he was represented by the Kennedy Galleries.
