John Barger (b 1953) American, Large Oil on BoardTitled 'Thunderhead Texas Hill Country', large oil on board. Born in Sante Fe, New Mexico, John Barger grew up in Galveston, Texas. HIs love of nature manifested itself early and by age 14 he was exhibiting and selling his paintings at localart shows. Barger received his art degree from the University of Texas, and traveled and studied extensively in Mexico and Europe. He is known for majestic Southwest landscapes of infinite variety.Overall Size: 49 1/2 x 61 1/2 in. Sight Size: 35 x 47 in.
