This is a signed and numbered lithograph by Joan Miro, a world-renowned Spanish
painter, sculptor, and ceramicist born in Barcelona. He rejected conventional painting
methods and combined abstract art with Surrealist fantasy, and he had a significant
influence on late 20th century art. The lithograph is probably from the 1970’s or early
80’s. It is under glass and well preserved, and numbered 48 out of 50 in the lower left
and signed in the lower right. The overall size is 39 1/4 x 30 5/8 in. wide and the sight
size is 30 1/2 x 21 3/4 in. wide.
