From her website: The artwork of Jeannie Maddox Art Studio is the life work of wife-and-husband team Jeannie and Sam Maddox. For the past 50 years, Jeannie and Sam have built their business by traveling all around the country — competing in art shows, meeting with clients, and always capturing photos for Jeannie’s next painting. Jeannie has made a name for herself with her award-winning, photorealistic Swimmer Series. These paintings reflect her love of color and abstraction created by the movement of the body in water. In fact, it’s not uncommon to hear, “Is it a painting or a photograph?” in response to these larger-than-life pieces.
