Impressionist Mountain scene oil on board painting with a white house, by Jay Connaway. It is signed "Connaway" in the lower right. Titled "The Hills and Pawlet Valley Spring" and also signed Jay Connaway verso. Pawlet Spring is located in Vermont's Mettawee Valley and Taconic Mountains.
A prolific, well educated and much exhibited landscape painter. His work was featured in an unprecedented 85 one-man shows, evidence of his successful and widely renowned career as a skilled sea painter.
