Japanese Tripod Brass Planter/Jardiniere. Small brass bowl on three short feet with impressed decoration of flying birds on exterior body.

Japanese brass planters are elegant decorative vessels traditionally used to hold potted plants or floral arrangements, often reflecting the refined aesthetics of Japanese craftsmanship. Typically handcrafted from solid brass, these planters may feature subtle patinas, hand-hammered textures, or engraved motifs such as chrysanthemums, cranes, waves, or other nature-inspired designs rooted in Japanese symbolism.
