This is a beautiful display of a TOA 12 bolt diving helmet that is held by a boat propeller stand. The plate on the chest section is in English. This either means that the helmet was made for a client outside of Japan or is a reproduction. Helmet seems in over all great condition, has some small dents and scratching from age.
Size: 48 x 26 x 26 in.
The Toa company was founded in 1909 in Minamisenji Japan. They are a diving equipment manufacturer that opened in 1904. They also specialized in the training of divers. They manufactured 12 bolt helmets with a round breastplate and also the square pearler type breastplate. The Company is still in business to day.
