Japanese Blue & White Arita Porcelain ChargerJapanese Blue & White Arita Porcelain Charger Probably Meiji period, circa 1900. The underside with a faint four-character mark. The center recess depicts a peacock nestling amidst a peony bush, within a narrow border dottedwith flowerheads in a band of diamonds, the exterior with four loosely painted stylized motifs. Size: 14 1/2 x 2 in.
