Jan Anthonisz Van Ravesteyn (1572-1657) was a portrait painter to the Dutch court in The Hague. Most of his work consists of portraits commissioned at the court in The Hague. Many major museums have portraits by Van Ravesteyn in their collections including the Metropolitan Museum in New York and Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
