Jack Levine (1915 - 2010) New York / Massachusetts artist. Signed in pencil lower right. Etching edition 66/100 lower left. Featuring "King David." Born and raised in the south end of Boston, Jack Levine created social satirical pieces exposingthe foibles and venals sins of mobsters and politicians, underworld characters whose actions are obviously insincere. He also satirized the middle class and created paintings of Biblical subjects.Overall size: 21 1/2 x 15 1/2 in.
