Artist Biography:
Iris Baranski-Daniels (April 15, 1959 – August 4, 2024) was a talented German-born artist who later made Sarasota, Florida, her home. Renowned for her intricate miniature paintings, she was an active and beloved figure in the local art scene. Her work was showcased in exhibitions alongside other prominent artists, earning admiration for its detail and charm. Beyond her artwork, Iris contributed to cultural events in Sarasota, blending art with innovative concepts such as fashion and design. Her dedication to the arts left a lasting impression on the community. Iris passed away at the age of 65, leaving behind a rich legacy celebrated by her peers and patrons.
