Important Rare18th Century 3 Ball & Claw Foot Corner Chair. Three Ball-and-Claw Feet, with shells and a depending flower. Swept talon foot with block and turned cross stretcher. Shell carved knee. Original throughout with original seat frame, however the leather was replaced. Likely Philadelphia 1760-1775. A fine similar example can be found (#2081) in The Furniture Treasury book published in 1928.
