Honore Daumier (1808-1879) French Lithograph, "Les Gens de Justice" pencil signed and numbered. Also plate signed sub titled "Le Bon Argument."
The Series Gens de Justice (Gentlemen of the Courts) scathingly satirizes corrupt lawyers and crooked judges. Daumier was the most important Satirist and caricaturist in the 19th C. His lithographs are in the collections of major museums around the world.
