Historic San Francisco Brass Gas & Electric Crystal Chandelier Circa 1900. Comes with an extra set of four glass covers for the lights.

Designed by Milton Roller for the Thomas Day Co., San Francisco. Milton Roller designed lighting for San Francisco's finest homes as well as the San Francisco Opera House, the Garden Court at the Palace Hotel, the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite, the Bohemian Club, and the Fairmont Hotel. Mr. Roller personally designed the conversion to electric in 1969 at the age of 91. He worked at the successor to the Thomas Day Co., The Phoenix Day Co., until his passing at 94. In the mid 1900's the chandelier hung in the Buck Estate in the Dominican in San Rafael. The Buck family is known today for its philanthropy in funding the pioneering Buck Institute for Research on Aging.
