Artist Biography:
Henri Eugène Callot (1875–1956) was a French painter born in La Rochelle. He is best known for his nudes and landscape paintings. Callot studied under Jules Lefebvre and Tony Robert-Fleury, and his work was regularly featured in prominent exhibitions such as the Salon des Artistes Français, where he earned a gold medal in 1920. He became a member of the Salon and was later honored as a Knight of the Legion of Honor. Throughout his career, Callot’s work also appeared at the Salon de la Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts/
