This whaling book is titled "Harpoons And Other Whalecraft" by Thomas G. Lytle and published by The Old Dartmouth Historical Society Whaling Museum in New Bedford, Massachusetts in 1984. There are also 332 photos of the items in the whaling collection at the Whale Museum in New Bedford. The book is 8vo. and measures 10 1/4 x 7 3/8 in. wide and is in tip top shape, with just a hint of wear on the right edge of the maroon label on the spine and that's it. The binding is tight and the pages and illustrations are as clean as a whistle, and an attractive book about whalecraft - the tools used to catch whales.
