Harold Noyes was a mid-20th-century American painter whose career combined commercial art with fine art. Early in his career, he worked as an art editor for True Confessions magazine in New York before moving to Hollywood, where he created advertising artwork for major film studios, including Disney, and designed record album covers. Later, Noyes devoted himself to painting full time, exhibiting with the California Art Club and in galleries throughout Texas and California. His work often reflected his talent for visual storytelling, and he became known for detailed, narrative paintings that celebrated everyday American life and nostalgic themes.
