Harold Newton, Florida Highwaymen oil on board painting. Depicting a palm tree with a house, and a sail boat in the distance. Harold Newton (1934-1994) was an American landscape artist. A founding member of the Florida Highwaymen, Newton was influenced by the work of Florida painter A.E. Backus. He depicted Florida's coastlines and wetlands.
