Still life with cactus and figurines, watercolor and mixed media, signed lower right. Guy Howard Saunders was born in Anita, Iowa, and worked in Chicago as a designer for Marshal Fields; he designed costumes for many famous actors while there. Saunders moved to Sarasota, Florida, in 1936 and lived and worked on the Ringling Art School campus for the next 43 years.
