Marked on the underside, along with an inscription: "Marjorie Elizabeth Robbins - from the Directors of The American Waltham Watch Co. January 28, 1902." Also marked sterling.

Goodnow & Jenks was a prominent Boston-based silversmith firm, active from roughly 1893 to 1905, recognized for high-quality, traditional-style sterling silver holloware, particularly those created by Bavarian master smith George Christian Gebelin until he left to form his own company in 1897. They were the first venture of Abel Goodnow after leaving the famed Lamson & Goodnow cutlery manufacturer, and their logo was a G and J bookending a turtle. Co-founded by Barton Pickering Jenks, son of famed silversmith Lewis Edwin Jenks, the firm was known for producing fine silverware, with pieces sometimes retailed by firms like Bigelow, Kennard & Co. After Goodnow’s death, the company dissolved.
