This elegant writing desk is crafted in the opulent Louis XV style, showcasing a richly veneered wood surface adorned with gilt bronze (ormolu) mounts. The desk features a serpentine front and gracefully cabriole legs, all framed with intricately cast bronze detailing, including acanthus leaves, floral motifs, and crowned cartouches.

The central drawer is flanked by two side drawers, each accented with raised gilt mounts and shaped panels that echo the curved architecture of the desk. The desk’s top edge is finished with a gilt bronze band, lending a refined boundary to the piece.
