French Opaline Eggs. Lot comprised of twelve French opaline glass eggs. Not fit for human consumption.

Opaline eggs are decorative objects made from opaline glass, a semi-translucent, milky glass popular in the 19th century, especially in France. These eggs often mimic the form of natural or jeweled eggs and were typically produced in soft pastel hues like blue, pink, and white, sometimes with gilded mounts or hand-painted embellishments. Valued for their delicate glow and smooth, luminous surface, opaline eggs were commonly used as luxury trinkets, keepsakes, or part of decorative table displays. Today, they are collected for their refined craftsmanship and as elegant examples of Victorian and Belle Époque decorative arts.
