Francis Woodcock (1906-1983) American Sycamore, framed watercolor. Following graduation from high school, Woodcock studied at the CCAC under Martinez, Nahl, and Logan. He worked as a commercial artist throughout his career with studios in San Francisco and Oakland. His work won many awards at exhibitions in northern California. His last years were spent in San Rafael, CA where he died on May 4, 1983. Member: Oakland AA (pres.); SWA (vice-pres.); Hayward AA (pres.); West Coast WC Society (pres.).
