Fine Violin Labeled Francisco Lupot, brother of Nicolai, from Orleans France. Numbered 1486, this violin has a two-piece, medium-figured maple back and a medium-grain spruce top. It is medium brown with rosewood fittings.Length of Back: 356.5 mm Upper Bout: 168 mm Center Bout: 114 mm Lower Bout: 204 mm The brown leather, shaped violin case has two bowholders, brass-colored latches and handle hardware. This violin has a Mooradian case cover from Boston.
