Fenton glass was a decorative art glass produced by the Fenton Art Glass Company, founded in 1905 in Williamstown, West Virginia, and celebrated for its rich colors, inventive finishes, and collectible designs. The company became especially known for styles such as carnival glass, milk glass, hobnail patterns, and hand-painted pieces, often featuring iridescent surfaces and distinctive molded forms. For much of the 20th century Fenton was one of America’s most prolific art glass makers, and its work remains widely collected for its craftsmanship, variety, and nostalgic appeal.
