Exceptional Imperial Chinese Porcelain Brush Pot. Important fresh to market monumental brush pot with exceptional imperial glazes. Clearly produced in an imperial factory in the late 18th/ early 19th century. The rare green and red condemnation with incised decoration makes this a museum quality object. from a private Boston collection.
Condition is excellent, no losses. Original glaze. Very little crazing. With pronounced cobalt signature on underside. Marking on underside says "Qing Dynasty, Kangxi Year".
Provenance: From a multi generational Boston collector.
