Erte (1892-1990) French, "Pride" from series "Seven Deadly Sins" Numbered 203/350 and signed in the lower right. Certificate of Authenticity attached to the back. Austin Gallery bio also attached. The designs created by Erté during hislong and illustrious life influenced not only the world of theatre, film and fashion, but an entire art movement as well. The genius of the artist is evidenced by an enormous body of work that is considered among the most influential and uniqueof the 20th century. Erté—Romain de Tirtoff—was born in Russia in 1892, and died at age 97 in 1990. Includes original bill of sale for $1400. Overall Size: 33 1/2 x 28 1/2 in. Sight Size: 23 1/2 x 18 1/4 in.
