Erik Martin 20th C. American Modernist. Biomorphic 1939 abstract mixed media watercolor in muted colors of blue, yellow, and brown. Martin studied in NY. He later moved to Oakland, CA where he painted and had a frame shop: "Something Special Frames." His work was influenced by Jean Arp and Paul Klee. He rarely sold his paintings and they seldom appear on the Art Market. Provenance: a Marin County, CA collector.
