English Royal Doulton 1949 Oliver Twist Ceramic Motto Jug. Gives the eponymous hero's name at the top rim, with striking images from Dicken's classic novel in the middle, and two quotes written around the bottom rim, making this somewhat different from most motto jugs: "Oliver's reception by Fagin and the boys" and "Oliver amazed at the Dodger's mode of going to work." Marked on underside.
