Doug Randall (Born 1946) American, Art Glass Wall Mounted Sculpture "City Lights" . A long rectangular rich blue plate with multi-colored vertical strips creates the impression of a long skyline. Small initials and dated '03 in gold paint bottom right. The piece rests in a custom framing stand with screw holes to attach it to a wall. 

Condition: The wall-hanging stand has no screws and is scratched.

Doug Randall was born in 1946 and first began his art glass career in 1973 after studying at Ohio State University and interning with a California glass design company. He creates his one-of-a-kind glass sculptures using a precise, multi-step kiln-forming process where colored glass is fused, slumped over molds, hand-polished, and fire-polished. Operating from his own studio in Portland, Oregon, Randall is heavily inspired by his travels, channeling architectural and spiritual imagery into deeply resonant, classic forms. His acclaimed sculptural vessel series and stained glass works have won many awards and wound up in galleries and major exhibitions around the globe.
