Two Peasant Figures, color print, numbered 204/500, and signed in the plate. Born in Jaffa, Israel, David Schluss began painting at a very early age. Influenced by great masters such as Chagall, Miro, and Botero, he developed his own individualized style and technique of painting. Using his fingers as paintbrushes, Schluss sculpts out images, textures and colors directly onto the canvas, creating whimsical and playful images. In 1983, David Schluss opened a Studio in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and travels occasionally to Tel-Aviv, drawing inspirations for his work.
