Daum is a prestigious French glassmaker renowned for its exquisite art glass, particularly pâte de verre (glass paste) creations that blend artistic innovation with meticulous craftsmanship. Founded in 1878 in Nancy by Jean Daum, the company rose to prominence during the Art Nouveau period, becoming a key figure in the École de Nancy movement alongside Émile Gallé. Daum's pieces are known for their rich colors, intricate detailing, and nature-inspired motifs, often featuring flowers, insects, and flowing organic forms. The company has collaborated with many renowned artists and continues to produce limited-edition glass sculptures and decorative objects, maintaining its reputation for luxury and artistry.
