Daniel Smith (Born 1954) American, Framed Signed Ducks Print and Stamp. Depicts two canvasback ducks surrounded by foamy water, with the stamp bearing numerous writings around it indicating it was used as a label for Paraduxx Napa Valley Red Wine in 2002. The print above is signed and dated '03 in the print bottom right, as well as signed and numbered 190/200 in pencil below it.

Daniel Smith was born in Mankato, Minnesota in 1954 and developed an early fascination with wildlife and painting, combining the two into a highly successful career starting in his twenties. In the 1980s his images of ducks were selected by the federal government for use on a series of stamps, and he developed long-term relationships with Trailside Galleries in Jackson, Wyoming, Settler’s West Gallery in Tucson, Arizona, and the Greenwich Workshop in Seymour, Connecticut. His realistic wildlife portraits won him accolades from numerous organizations and exhibitions, and today he resides in Bozeman, Montana with his family, where he continues to produce original pieces as well as prints used to raise funds for numerous conservation efforts.
