Chinese Jade Snuff Bottle. Pale green jade with russet bar, decorated with floral designs in low relief. Has a compressed oval or gourd-like shape, narrow neck, and small opening. Standing on raised ovoid foot.

Chinese snuff bottles are small, intricately crafted containers designed to hold powdered tobacco, introduced to China during the Qing dynasty. Used for both practical and decorative purposes, these bottles reflect the artistry and craftsmanship of their time, often made from materials like glass, jade, porcelain, or metal and adorned with detailed carvings, paintings, or inlays.
