Chinese Blue and White Hanging Medicine Pots. Chinese blue and white porcelain medicine or spice pots with chain for hanging.

This set appears to be a decorative interpretation of a traditional Chinese hanging spice or herb jar display, commonly used in apothecaries or kitchens. In historic contexts, small ceramic pots like these were sometimes suspended from a wooden or metal frame using cords or chains, allowing for easy access to frequently used spices, herbs, or teas. The chain in this reproduction is unusually large and stylized, suggesting a modern, ornamental take rather than a functional one. Each small porcelain pot features varied designs—some with blue-and-white motifs, others with colorful enamel-style painting—reflecting the aesthetic diversity of Chinese ceramics.
