This is an untitled collage by Charles Gresham circa 1950. There is an exhibition label and a gallery label on the verso from the Esther Robles Gallery in Los Angeles, which exhibited the work of many important modernists. This piece by Gresham has an exhibition label with his name on it. He also created a mural in the 1930's for the New Orleans Jazz Museum, and Gresham had his own gallery and frame store in New Orleans until his death in 1979.. The overall size is 23 1/4 x 18 in. wide and the sight size is 18 x 12 1/2 in. wide.
