A graduate of the Edinburgh College of Art, Celia Collin has taught in Kenya, Nova Scotia, Bermuda, England and the Sudan. Thus widely travelled, her paintings are exquisite reflections of time spent in these regions. Celia's works now hang in collections throughout the world. She has exhibited with great success through Harrison Galleries for the past nine years and continues to delight all of her collectors and admirers.
Celia's paintings are popular with anyone who appreciates the serenity of a pastoral landscape, dappled by brilliant sunlight and immersed in warmth and nostalgia. Strength and character are given in her oil paintings through the exclusive use of a palette knife. This method, in turn, enhances the painting's life and spontaneity in the moment captured.
