Carl Gordon Cutler (1873–1945) was an American painter known for his vibrant modernist landscapes and expressive watercolors, particularly of Maine's Penobscot Bay region. Trained at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and the Académie Julian in Paris, his work was influenced by Fauvism and John Marin, and was exhibited internationally, including at the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and the Art Institute of Chicago.
